All horses on these pages are NOT real, they are either models or paper identities. Welcome to Misty Shadows Farm Chincoteague Ponies! MSF strives to have realistically bred Chincoteague Ponies. MSF specializes in Misty family ponies, offering Misty lines no longer available in real life and descendants of all of Stormy’s lines. Most of my island bred ponies descend from real ponies that live/have lived on Assateague. Ponies with no pedigree, aka “island bred”, were all foaled before the foundation of the Chincoteague Pony Association. Misty Shadows Farm is named after Misty of Chincoteague, as all Chincoteague Ponies are forever in her shadow.
